Membership

Membership in the FSCA is open to Foreign Service employees and their families (CIC, CIDA, DND, DFAIT, RCMP), employees, retired employees and their families, widows/widowers and ex-spouses.

Full Membership - The Executive Committee shall grant Full Membership to any person who travels pursuant to the provisions of the Foreign Service Directive (FSDs). Included are employees of the Federal Government who are, will be, or once were posted and their spouses or partners as defined in the FSDs. Full Members are entitled to attend and vote at all meetings of the Association, serve on the Executive Committee, serve as Committee Chairs, participate in all events at a discounted fee (if applicable) and access the private forums at fsca-acse.org (see example below).

Associate Membership - The Executive Committee, at its discretion, may grant Associate Membership to any person who wishes to support the activities and objectives of the FSCA, but does not qualify for full membership. Associate Members shall have all rights afforded to Full Members but are not entitled to vote at meetings of the FSCA, shall not chair a Standing Committee nor be a member of the Executive Committee.

Membership fees (Annual - Full & Associate):
Single: $20 | Couple: $20 - First year fees waived for new members
