FSCA Spousal Employment Committee
Terms of Reference
- To act as FSCA’s primary forum for discussion of issues relating to spousal employment
- To build as appropriate on the 1999 Spousal Task Force Report, and to seek new ideas, concerns and current information from the FSCA membership, Departments, other countries and other Foreign Service community associations.
- To provide input on behalf of FSCA to senior levels of the Departments, both by way of proposing new approaches and providing reaction to Departmental proposals.
- To oversee the FSCA’s public information campaign on spousal employment.
- To seek inputs from FSCA members and ensure information flow to them on relevant developments.
- To be chaired by the Co-Coordinators for Spousal Employment, and to comprise interested FSCA members, whether located in the National Capital Region or at missions.
- To meet in principle every two months, and to transact by email.
