Annual Report – 2004-2005
Our five bi-monthly meetings once again covered a wide variety of topics, addressed by yet another interesting group of speakers. Except for the final bus trip in May, our meetings were held on alternating Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 4:00 to 600 p.m., in the last weeks of September, November, January and March. Hosted over the past year by Dwight Fulford, Margaret Harman and Tudy McLaine, the meetings - as listed below - were each attended by an average of 10 to 20 foreign service alumni.

Topic: "The Future of the Canadian Foreign Service: a provocative lecture..."
Thursday, March 31st:
Speaker: Craig MacDonald, President, Ottawa Branch, FSNA, and former Ambassador to Finland.
Topic: "Federal Superannuates National Association: What's in it for me?"
Wednesday, May 25th:
Guide: Dwight Fulford, an FSO native of Brockville and former Ambassador to Saudi Arabia and Argentina
Event: A day in Brockville, via old route 2 from Prescott and including lunch in Fulford Place ( built by Dwight’s grandfather)
In our attempt to appeal to the interests of our various subgroups (see below), we always welcome new programme suggestions. Also, we would appreciate F.S.C.A. members informing new retirees about our group so that they can join us in future activities. Subgroup contact persons are:
