The FSCA - Your Organization, Working for You

The Foreign Service Community Association (FSCA) is a volunteer organization dedicated to the welfare of employees, spouses and dependants of government departments in the service of Canada abroad, and serves as a forum for action on behalf of Foreign Service families.

The FSCA acts as a liaison between families of the Canadian Foreign Service and Foreign Affairs & International Trade Canada (DFAIT), the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) and Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC); and is the only organization which represents all members of the Foreign Service and their families.

The FSCA’s goals are to develop and enhance the spirit of community within the Canadian Foreign Service on the basis of trust and sharing of concerns. It advocates on pertinent issues (spousal employment, FSDs, etc.), organizes social events, provides advice to employees and spouses, and offers networking, leadership and volunteer opportunities.

Do you have ideas and talent to contribute? The Foreign Service Community Association is always looking for volunteers. Lend a hand in building a strong and vibrant FSCA!
